Love the large print and large swatches of colour. Genuinely helpful guide with hints on subjects well-suited to each mix.

Like with the shadowing book, I cannot wait to use this book with my painting. It's ingenious.

Overall a great tool to imagine new ways to mix color. I love it. As with the shade mixing book, some of the colors appeared a little off to me in the printed version, but that was no problem.

I purchased both the Lightening and Shading Reference Guides. I love the thoroughness of the guides and color examples. The Lightening Guide is actually two Guides - one for Winsor & Newton and the other for Gamblin! I was able to finally get the correct color for my evening silhouetted trees. Very helpful!
